Ask Claude or ChatGPT about the library
Two minutes to connect. Then every brand in the library, every run time and every stopped ad answers in the chat you already use, with the date it was last checked.
Claude
- Create your free account with your work email (a one-time code, no password). Your personal connector link is waiting on your account page.
- On claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the link. In the desktop app: Settings → Plugins → Add MCP server, type Streamable HTTP, paste the link.
- Start a chat and ask. Claude reads the library for your account and nothing else.
Treat the link like a password: anyone who has it can read your account. You can rotate it on the account page at any time.
ChatGPT
- Turn on Developer mode: on a Plus or Pro account, Settings → Security and login → Developer mode; on a Business or Enterprise workspace an admin turns it on under Settings → Apps → Advanced settings. Free ChatGPT accounts cannot add custom connectors.
- In a web browser, chatgpt.com/plugins → the + button → name it PirateAds → Server URL: your connector link from the account page → Authentication: no auth (the key is already in the link) → Create.
- Start a new chat, pick PirateAds from the tools menu, and ask.
What to ask
These are the questions early users ask most. Each one maps to a tool the connector exposes, so the answer comes with real ads, real dates and a last-checked stamp.
Prompts by job
Copy the one that matches the task. Each is written so the answer is bounded by what the library actually knows (last-checked dates, stops tracked since).
Your own agents
The connector is plain MCP over HTTPS, so it works anywhere Claude runs: Claude Code, the Agent SDK, a scheduled task. Agencies use it for the Monday note that writes itself: a task that runs my_brands_digest per client every Monday morning and drops the draft in the client channel. Every tool answer carries last_checked and, per brand, stops_tracked_since, so an agent can refuse to claim what the library has not verified.
What it can and cannot see
- Can: every brand on the shared library, every stored ad (running and stopped), run times, formats, angles, benchmarks, your saved brands, and your own ad account once it is connected.
- Cannot: any other customer’s account, spend or connections. Competitor spend and ROAS are private to the advertiser; no tool has them. Run time is the public signal, and we say so.
- Writes: starring and adding brands. With your own Meta account connected, creating a paused draft, pausing and activating, only when you ask. Nothing is ever launched live by the assistant.
